It's the new year. Time for changes in people's lives. The time where people make resolutions in their lives in which some are kept and some are not. I have decided to rededicate my life to serving my Lord, Jesus Christ. I want 2009 to be a year of complete dependence on Him to supply my needs (not my wants). I want every aspect of my life to bring Him glory!!! I recently bought a daily bible by Max Lucado titled "Grace For The Moment." I am currently reading that with this website called One Year Bible Blog. It's awesome just reading about God's word from His creation to the birth of His son Jesus. I truly look forward to reading the book of Psalm's for the fact that it's a book about pouring out different emotions towards God. From this day I want more and more and more of You, God!!! As I was sitting back getting ready to read my bible I was listening to a song by Jeremy Camp that got my thinking and just desiring more of God.....I actually started crying. I usually do that with my alone time....when it's just Him and me and I know I will be doing that a lot throughout the year. Lord revive me!!
Psalm 119:169-176
169 Hear my cry to you, Lord.
Let your word help me understand.
170 Listen to my prayer;
save me as you promised.
171 Let me speak your praise,
because you have taught me your demands.
172 Let me sing about your promises,
because all your commands are fair.
173 Give me your helping hand,
because I have chosen your commands.
174 I want you to save me, Lord.
I love your teachings.
175 Let me live so I can praise you,
and let your laws help me.
176 I have wandered like a lost sheep.
Look for your servant, because I have not forgotten your commands.
